Special Master Services/Reports

The attorneys of Quarterman Hodson & Morang, P.C. are experienced in serving as court appointed special masters in Quiet Title Actions filed in the Superior Courts of Georgia.

When a Quiet Title Action is filed, the Superior Court judge of the county will assign the case to a lawyer, called a Special Master. The Special Master is a lawyer who resides in the judicial circuit or county where the Superior Court is located, and who is an expert in real estate law. The Special Master will also ensure that everyone who was required to be served the petition was actually served. The Special Master is then charged with examining the title to the disputed property, making recommendations, and returning his findings to the court via reports and other specialized documentation.
