Boundary Line Agreements
A Boundary Line Agreement is signed by parties who have been in dispute over the exact boundary line between their parcels of land or who wish to establish forever exactly where the shared line will be located.
This form states that they have reached an agreement concerning the boundary line and wish to put it in writing. Like easements, boundary lines are another area in which property owners often have disputes. Sometimes, a boundary line was once clearly marked but over the years, one party may have begun to creep over the line, or a legal description may be inaccurate. Other times, parties may wish to adjust the line to allow for a driveway or setback correction.
